My Fluffy Pillows

Major~

My very 1st time on the grounds of a Major tournament!

I must admit that I am not entirely familiar with the game, and neither am I a huge fan of baseball. But all that lack of knowledge does not hamper my excitement! Here’s a look at the score board.

San Francisco Giants vs Milwaukee Brewers

The game went well. We reached the stadium quite some time after the match started but were lucky enough to catch 2 home runs.

The only spoiler of the day was the parking fees incurred. We were really desperate for an unoccupied lot within close premise of the stadium as we were running late. And we got lucky because we spotted an empty lot along the road beside a restaurant, only to find out that is reserved for valet parking at a flat rate of $25USD. It was rather obvious to us that they charged an exorbitant parking fee because they were conveniently located beside the stadium. So we decided to make a u-turn and drive towards the back of the stadium where there were fields of parking spaces.

And of course we expected the rate there to be more reasonable, because it was a dirt road, not tarred with no proper lot markings, not well lit and you do not get an experienced personnel to park the car for you. That 2m by 1m2 area of space cost us $30USD for barely 3hours.
Pay $3 to park at Shenton Way for 30 minutes? What’s that man! So cheap!
The experience of the game and the photos we took that night cannot be purchased for a mere 30 bucks.
Anyway the tickets to the game was free. So its still worth it in the end in terms of monetary costs ;)

The only thing this stadium lacks is the legendary Kallang wave~
